I do have one that I use for a portion of my retirement funds. I also self-manage another portion. Personally, I love being able manage some of my own investments, but the thought of managing it all stresses me out. However, we both get about the same annual returns.

Suzanne, good advise! With six kids we have purchased 5 used cars now (one got totaled in an accident. Thank goodness -everyone was fine.) Josh, you are so right! It is so easy to get caught up in the never-ending cycle credit card cycle. I think most of us do not take into account the addition of interest to the balance each month. Yes, we know it is going to be there, but the reality of it is so much more than we think about.
