As I am putting things together I’m noticing that decor is definitely a way to make a dent in your budget. As a naturally crafty person I’m not afraid to DIY something that I really want but lately I’ve been noticing that after I buy the materials I’m basically at the same price as the item I originally wanted. For example, faux flowers can be $1.99 to $9.99. The flower wreath you saw on pinterest can be upwards of $100 if you DIY as opposed to $30 if you buy it from the store.

Are any of you crafters and how do you decide whether or not you can do it for cheaper or to just go ahead and buy what you really want?
