[Josh Johnson – Ambassador]

I’ve seen several friends posting a new investment app called Robinhood. Does anyone have any insight and/or advice on it? I’d love to get into the investment game, but I’ll be the first to admit that I zero idea where to start.

This apps, from what I can tell, completely simplifies the process and handles all the tough/nitty gritty things about the stock market. Which are what scare and baffle me to no end.

I already use Acorn to round up my purchases and invest and love the simplicity of it and that I essentially have a “savings account” that’s run completely by a third party app. Meaning that I’m constantly putting money away without even having to think about it/do it.

I’ve actually never heard of Robinhood but I have used Acorns. I don’t think financial apps are for me. I’m more of a set and forget it type person instead of hands on with an app. I will definitely check out this app and try out the investment app world again.
